To Cosign or Not to Cosign- What Managers Need to Consider

How does the facility handle the registration eligible dietitian, dietitian (non-registered), dietetic technician, registered (DTR) or non-registered dietetic technician for charting in the patient/client/residential medical record or electronic health record?

Answer: This is a facility decision based on the Qualified Dietitian Federal Definition which lists duties and qualifications of staff within Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals (CAH), Long Tem Care facilities, and End Stage Renal facilities. For more information, please see the ADA Quality Management Journal article, published September 2006; To Cosign or Not to Cosign- What Managers Need to Consider
