Board Certified Specialist Eligibility Application and Fee

To become a Board Certified Specialist, you must first complete the eligibility application and successfully meet the following minimum criteria:

  • current RD, and
  • three years minimum length of RD status, and
  • 4,000 hours of practice as an RD in the specialty within the last five years, and
  • successful completion of the Board Certification as a Specialist in Dietetics examination.
