For the past 38 years, the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) has remained steadfast to its mission of protecting the public by attesting to the professional competence of dietetics practitioners. Consistently at the forefront of credentialing policy and technology, the Commission leads the way in certifying that registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered have acquired, maintained and continue to advance their professional skills.
CDR prides itself on the accomplishments of the past and is committed to the continued provision of optimal services to benefit the public and credentialed practitioners, as well as to enhance the profession. The maintenance fee not only provides registration services for all registered professionals, but also is the primary source of funding for CDR's program of work. It is used to finance ongoing CDR operations, and new programs, products and services designed to enhance the skills, credibility and marketplace perception of the entire dietetics profession.

While we understand that fee increases are never welcome, we hope you appreciate the need to adjust the maintenance fee in order to maintain the current level of services and continue to further program and technology enhancements.
The $50.00 fee is effective the 2006 invoicing. Individuals who have prepaid the registration maintenance fee for a five-year cycle will not be invoiced the new fee until the end of that prepaid period.
