Fellows of The American Dietetic Association

CDR is no longer accepting applications for the Fellow of the American Dietetic Association.  CDR conducted a scheduled evaluation of the Fellow Program in 2000-2001.  Based on evaluation data, CDR supports the concept of a Fellow recognition program as a means for ADA to honor those who have demonstrated exceptional professional characteristics, but believes that the goals of the Fellow program will be more effectively met through an ADA recognition program. CDR also made the decision to grant then-current Fellows with lifetime certificates. Click here for a total list of ADA Fellows.

While CDR is not currently considering reinstatement of the Fellow certification program, the possibility of an advanced level practice certification in the future is not necessarily precluded. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us at
