Essential Practice Competencies Information For Students

PDP Guide Featuring Essential Practice Competencies
Credentialed practitioners are required to maintain certification through continuous learning in order to ensure professional knowledge and competence. During the redesign of the recertification system to the current Professional Development Portfolio (PDP) process, the CDR Competency Assurance Panel reviewed and reaffirmed the five (5) year recertification cycle. This evidence-based decision making involved the results of the dietetics practice audits which have consistently validated practice changes every four and one-half to five years.
The PDP Guide is the primary source for information to aid you through the recertification process using CDR's Professional Development Portfolio system, now featuring Essential Practice Competencies. Click here to access the PDP Guide.
