CDR Update – COVID 19
As the Academy and CDR continue to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in coordination with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and state and local governments, the health and safety of our communities remain a top priority. We are taking every precautionary measure to prevent any additional spread of COVID-19, while ensuring the least amount of disruption to CDR operations. From a public health perspective, it is wise and socially responsible for CDR to do its part in reducing the pandemic's curve and easing the potential burden on the health care system. Toward the goal of safeguarding all employees, their families and members of the community. CDR's physical office is closed until September 8th. CDR's robust telecommuting program ensures that our employees can perform essential job functions remotely. The vast majority of services to CDR's credentialed practitioners will remain uninterrupted. |

Professional Development Portfolio DeadlineCDR is aware of the fact that there are many conferences and events being postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and that CPEUs that participants may have earned will not be available to report for the current 5-year PDP cycle ending May 31, 2020. Despite the cancellation of these events, registrants are encouraged to make a sincere attempt to complete the required CPEUs (75-RDs and 50-DTRs) by May 31, 2020. This can be accomplished by means other than live events or seminars. Alternative CPE resources are noted below. They include a link to CDR’s CPE Database and Accredited Provider list. These resources will allow you to find many online self-study options, prior-approved recorded seminars and webinars, professional reading materials, and other online video and audio materials.
UPDATE - March 25, 2020 CDR has approved an extension of the May 31,2020 PDP recertification deadline for completion of the CPE requirements (75/RDs and 50/DTRs) and submission of completed activity logs to July 15, 2020. This extension does not impact the length of the next PDP recertification cycle beginning June 1, 2020. UPDATE - May 11, 2020
CDR has approved an expansion of the Activity Type 175: Recorded Pre-Approved maximum CPEUs to 45 CPEUs for RDs and 30 CPEUs for DTRs for all cycles that are currently active. Starting with cycles beginning June 2, 2021, the maximum CPEUs will return to 30 CPEUs for RDs and 20 for DTRs.
