- The Annual Registration Maintenance Fee invoice is generated 3 - 5 days after successful completion of the entry level examination. Once the invoice is available, the practitioner will receive an email with instructions on how to pay the fee.
- The CDR annual billing begins in early June and the payment is due August 31st ($70 RD and $60 DTRs).
- Late Fee Schedule:
- September 1 - October 31: $25 late fee
- November 1 - December 31: $50 late fee
- January 1 - March 31: $200 late fee
- CDR has partnered with Credly to provide practitioners with a digital version of their credential that can be used to showcase their accomplishments. Click here for information on how to access the digital credential badge and wall certificate.
- CDR ID Cards are no longer mailed. Practitioners may request a PDF ID card by logging into their myCDR account and selecting, CDR ID Card.

- CDR does not have a retired status for the RD or DTR credential. To maintain the credential, even if retired, the practitioner must comply with all Professional Development Portfolio (PDP) recertification deadlines and pay the Annual Registration Maintenance Fee.

- Send an email to cdrverify@eatright.org to request a verification statement to be mailed or emailed.
- Please include: first/last name, registration number, and state of residence for the practitioner being verified.
- Requests that exam results be sent to a state board must be in writing and emailed to cdrexams@eatright.org.
- Requests that credential verification of registration be sent to state boards must be in writing and emailed to cdrverify@eatright.org.
- Practitioners requesting CPEU verification for state licensure must complete the State Licensure CPEU Verification Form. The completed form must be emailed to cdr@eatright.org.
- Please note - The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure boards are separate entities. Questions related to licensure must be directed to the practitioners' specific state licensure board.
- To voluntarily terminate registration status due to retirement or no longer practicing, CDR must receive notification by email cdr@eatright.org or mail (CDR, 120 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 2190, Chicago, IL 60606).
