If trying to pay the registration maintenance fee, the $50 late fee will be waived on September 1st only. The $50 late fee will resume on September 2nd for any outstanding registration maintenance fee payments.
2024 GRADUATE DEGREE REQUIREMENT – REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY
Effective January 1, 2024, the minimum degree requirement for eligibility to take the registration examination for dietitians changed from a bachelor's degree to a graduate degree. All other didactic and supervised practice eligibility requirements remain the same.
Only those seeking to become eligible for the registration examination for dietitians for the first time, on or after January 1, 2024, are required to have completed the minimum of a graduate degree granted by a USDE accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
Individuals who established eligibility for the registration examination for dietitians on or before December 31, 2023 or those who are already registered are not required by CDR to obtain a graduate degree.
Starting January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is the minimum degree requirement for those seeking to become eligible for the registration examination for dietitians.
