Board Certification in Advanced Practice Program Update

What This Means

• The RD-AP program will no longer accept new applicants after May 31,2027.
• The last administration of the RD-AP examination will be December 31, 2027. 
• Existing credential holders will continue to maintain their credential status through their expiration date under current policies. 
• The credential will officially retire on December 31, 2032.

Throughout the transition period, we will continue to verify credential status and maintain program records.

• Recertification eligibility and deadlines
