Longitudinal Assessment (LA)

What is Longitudinal Assessment?

Unlike traditional exams, this longitudinal assessment pilot program delivers quarterly modules over three years, each with 20-25 questions. Modules can be completed anytime during the quarter and do not need to be finished in one sitting.

Key Details:

  1. Successful completion means no CSO or CSSD exam for recertification.
  2. Failure to meet passing scores or deadlines will require taking the CSO or CSSD exam.
  3. You must still submit an eligibility application documenting 1,000 specialist practice hours and pay the $350 recertification fee.
  4. Completion earns 75 CPEUs toward your RD credential.
