How to log FNCE 2020 CPEU Activities

Please retain for your documentation either a certificate of completion or an agenda/timing outline which accurately reflects the number of contact hours spent completing each activity. Certificates of completion can be found in the session resources within the virtual FNCE platform. 

Activity Type 171: Live Webinar/Teleseminar 


Please select Activity Type 171 for sessions you watched live that included an interactive Q&A/discussion at the end of the presentation.

  • Up to 14.5 CPEUs can be claimed under Activity Type 171 for virtual FNCE 2020.
  • Please log all sessions completed at this conference as separate Activity Log entries, complete with session title. You may request X CPEUs for each session attended, where X is equivalent to the number of contact hours you spent viewing the session. (For example, a 2-hour session would be eligible for 2 CPEUs).
  • Select your sphere number and competency.  Although there are three suggested performance indicators* provided for each session, you as the practitioner will select the competency that you feel was fulfilled by the knowledge, skills, and behaviors gained from activity completion.
    • Performance Indicators* are suggested knowledge, skills, and behaviors that can be gained through completion of an activity.
    • If you are looking for guidance, you may review the suggested performance indicators for each presentation in the CPE Database

Activity Type 175: Recorded Pre-Approved Webinar  


Please select Activity Type 175 for FNCE On-Demand sessions.

  • A maximum of 50 CPEUs for RDs/33 CPEUs for DTRs can be claimed for this activity type during the 5-year cycle.
  • Please log all sessions completed at this conference as separate Activity Log entries, complete with session title. You may request X CPEUs for each session attended, where X is equivalent to the number of contact hours you spent viewing the session. (For example, a 2-hour session would be eligible for 2 CPEUs).

Please note - RDs can log a maximum of 50 CPEUs and DTRs a maximum of 33 CPEUs under activity type 175: Recorded Pre-Approved CPE during a 5-year cycle.  

 

Activity Type 130: Exhibits   


Please evaluate the cumulative number of contact hours you spent viewing exhibits during your conference.

  • You may claim X CPEUs for time spent viewing exhibits, where X is equivalent to this cumulative number of hours.
  • Select a sphere and performance indicator (PI) from your Learning Plan that is descriptive of how the activity enhances your skillset, behavior, performance, abilities, attitude – competence. The sphere/PI you select is up to you.
  • A maximum of 15 CPEUs may be claimed for this activity type during the 5-year recertification cycle.
  • Please retain for your documentation a certificate of completion.

 

Activity Type 180: Posters  


Please evaluate the cumulative number of contact hours you spent viewing poster sessions during your conference.

  • You may claim X CPEUs for time spent viewing poster sessions, where X is equivalent to this cumulative number of hours.
  • Select a sphere and performance indicator (PI) from your Learning Plan that is descriptive of how the activity enhances your skillset, behavior, performance, abilities, attitude – competence. The sphere/PI you select is up to you.
  • A maximum of 15 CPEUs may be claimed for this activity type during the 5-year recertification cycle.
  • Please retain for your documentation a certificate of completion.
