Student Research Proposal Requests
New Process Effective January 2020.
CDR has collaborated with the Academy Research Team to update the process for student research proposal requests for registry lists. Effective January 1, 2020, the following two-step process will be used to review and fulfill these requests.
Step 1 - Review by the Council on Research Survey Review Subcommittee of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Please click here to obtain the application to submit to the Subcommittee effective January 1, 2020. NOTE: The Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval should not be obtained until the student has received written approval from the Subcommittee. Otherwise, if IRB approval has already been obtained and the Survey Review Subcommittee requests that the student make changes to the materials, the student may need to submit an IRB modification (and subsequently, proof of modification approval to CDR) in order for CDR to accept the application and provide the registry list.
Step 2 - Submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) Approval.
Once IRB approval has been obtained, the student should send confirmation of IRB approval to CDR at email@example.com. CDR will provide the registry list within five business days of receipt of proof of IRB approval.
