Pilot Collaborative Learning Sessions Options

Introducing a new three-day two-track
certificate of training collaborative learning sessions
June 24-26, 2020 - Portland, Oregon.
 
After careful consideration of the evolving COVID-19 situation, we have made the decision to cancel the June 24-26, 2020 program.s  Program registrants will be issued a full refunds. If you have any questions, please contact Elaine Bulter at 312/899-4718 or ebutler@eatright.org.

October 14-16, 2020 – Indianapolis, Indiana.
November 11-13, 2020 - Denver, Colorado
Due to COVID-19, a decision will be made in July 2020 if these programs will be offered.
 
 
NOTE:  CPE hours for these programs will be awarded
following the pilot sessions.
 
Requirements to earn the certificate of training:

—Pre-work online courses

  • The pre-work online courses must be completed in order to attend the face-to-face collaborative learning sessions. These materials are interactive with videos, case studies, knowledge checks and readings.

—Face-to-face collaborative learning session

  • Hands-on application of what you learned from the pre-work materials.  The face-to-face collaborative learning session will focus on experiential learning activities that require critical thinking and problem-solving as well as skill building in areas such as counseling.

Post-Test: 
 
Successful completion of a take-home post-test with a passing score of 80% is required before the certificate of training is awarded.  The deadline to take the post-test is Monday, July 13, 2020.
 
Registration Requirements

These Collaborative Learning Sessions are only open to:
  • CDR credentialed practitioners—RDs and DTRs.
  • Active, Student, International and Retired category members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. 
 Registrations will not be finalized until these requirements have been verified.
 
Future Collaborative Learning Sessions

November 11-13, 2020 - Denver, Colorado
