EXPLORE SCOPE AND PRACTICE
The Commission on Dietetic Registration’s (CDR’s) vision is to protect and promote the health of the public by supporting practitioner competence, quality practice, diversity, equity, lifelong-learning, and career advancement. CDR accomplishes this by developing, maintaining, and promoting foundational documents such as Scope and Standards of Practice, focus area standards, and the Code of Ethics. Additionally, CDR provides resources that guide practice such as case studies, practice tips, credentialing tips, and definition of terms; and keeps credentialed practitioners informed on quality initiatives, accreditation and regulation updates.
